Documents can stored and accessible in two different locations on the platform: In The Library and in the Data Room(s) of a given Pathway, or multiple Pathways. A document may be in your library, but not be in use in any Pathways, conversely it might be used as a supporting document in a Pathway but might not be stored in the library. Here are the different ways you can delete documents in Pathways:
Delete a Document from The Library
If you wish to delete a file from The Library, find the file in the list of Documents. Click the ‘ellipsis’ at the far right of the file row to pull up a a list of file options: Rename, Download and Delete. Select the ‘Delete’ option from the ellipses beside the file you wish to delete.
The following confirmation prompt will display.
Select ‘Yes’ and the file will be removed from the company’s library.
Please note, if the file was added to a transaction before being deleted, the file will still be accessible within the Pathways Data Room.
Delete A Document From The Data Room
Once you’re in the Pathway you wish to delete a document from, navigate to the Data Room. On the Data Room screen, click the ellipse for the file you want to delete.
There will be two options: ‘Download’ and ‘Delete’. Select ‘Delete’.
If you delete a document from a Pathway's Data Room, it will not be deleted form the library or any other additional Pathway Data Rooms that it is stored in.
